Who is she?

One may ask why I decided to make a substack? I have not one clue because I have no business being here. On the other hand you should stay because you might find me funny or interesting or just want to see what in the world is going on in my mind.

All that being said, let’s get to know a little bit about me. First things first, this is is one of my least favorite topics. I despised having to give an interesting fact or two truths and a lie about myself on the first day of class. If you’re here though I guess you should know who is behind all these posts that are probably a bit all over the place.

I am not a writer in any shape, form or fashion. As 26 rapidly approaches I find myself needing a creative outlet to shout my ideas into the void without a pressure that will lead me down the path of burnout. I love a good craft, cooking and piddling around stores as I try to not buy things that I really don’t need. I have way to many arts and crafts supplies for just one person but I am always prepared for a DIY or impromptu craft night.

All this love for crafts led me to getting a degree in Graphic Design. It was not all fun like I envisioned as a high school aged kid but I wouldn’t change it. After school I went into the wedding and stationary industry for a local business and had so much fun but ultimately wasn’t the right fit and I left design behind for an office job with sporadic freelance jobs on the side.

Now that you are caught up on enough of my backstory, we are back to almost being 26 and needing a place to share my endeavors of the good and the ugly while navigating life. I hope you will hang around and maybe be inspired to create something too!
