Wishlist Wednesday: S1E1
just a girl who loves to online window shop and has extremely targeted ads.
I am someone who loves to window shop and has a habit of coming home with way to many knick knacks. This has translated to online shopping and having my targeted ads occasionally thinking I was born with a healthy trust fund. Wishlist Wednesday is a series of all the fun screenshots taking up my iCloud storage of both practical wants and outlandish finds.
This week I am currently obsessing over wanting have my entire home fully decorated. This weeks finds are all homewares and other odd additions that FB marketplace and Etsy are tired of seeing me search.
item 1: decorative match box
first of all, if something can be put into a decorative container, I am all for it. This was most definitely a targeted ad that I still get and really want but have no real need for it. My justification for the inevitable purchase of this is that is that if I buy a candle or three my husband will light all of them at once and this looks a lot better sitting out than than a bright blue BIC lighter.
item 2: cups, mugs, & more cups
if I bring one more cup or mug into my house it may cause me to have a mental breakdown. We have no kitchen storage and if one more drinkware item goes into the cabinet, I believe everything will come tumbling out. Seriously, my garage is basically a homegoods kitchen section. On the other hand, CeramicoByZelis makes the most adorable drinkware and serving-ware that I might have to make that risk or just clean out glassware that isn’t this cute.
item 3: stained glass window
no links here because I have yet to find the exact piece that 1. I truly love and 2. that isn’t as much as my mortgage payment. However, I do think my kitchen window would greatly benefit from some color and make our gray box of a home a little less gray (don’t worry, we’re working on it). This one from amazon seems like the easy alternative but why pick the easy option when I can scour FB Marketplace and local salvage stores to find one.
item 4: decorative clocks
will this be used to tell the time at all? No. Will it look great in my living room and tie in the brass hardware from my kitchen? Yes. I will not be using a clock to tell the time if I’m at home, that is a job for my microwave, phone and husband. I do think the desire for a good decorative clock comes from my mother having multiple giant ones throughout our house as kids, none of which worked. If I had the space, a grandfather clock would most definitely be on this list as well.
